Our Promise to You
Care That Actually Gets You Moving Again
You've tried the stretches, the ice, the YouTube fixes. Maybe you even saw a doctor who took X-rays, said "yep, it's swollen," and told you to come back in four weeks—with nothing to show for it. You walked in defeated. You'll leave here with answers. We don't do the runaround. Dr. Sautter reviews your case before you even arrive, listens to what you've tried, and creates a real plan to get you back to hiking, running, and living your life. We offer treatments other local practices don't—like laser therapy and minimally invasive surgery that gets you back on the trail in weeks, not months. Conservative care first, innovative options when you need them, surgery only when it's actually necessary. You didn't move to Oregon to sit on the sidelines. Let's get you back on your feet.
Dr. Todd Sautter
The only minimally invasive foot surgeon in Grants Pass
Dr. Sautter didn't move to Grants Pass for the mild winters—he moved for the mountains. As someone who values the Southern Oregon outdoor lifestyle as much as you do, he gets it. When foot pain threatens your ability to hike, run, or just take your morning walk, it's not just a medical issue—it's your quality of life. That's why he's dedicated his career to offering treatments that get you back to what you love—faster. He's the only surgeon in the area performing minimally invasive foot surgery, and he's invested in innovative options like MLS laser therapy and regenerative medicine when other practices haven't. But what patients appreciate most? He actually listens.
-
He listens
He values conservative treatment solutions and doesn’t immediately jump to surgical recommendations unless they are the best option for the patient’s issue.
-
Conservative first, with emphasis on regenerative medicine options when possible
Exhaust conservative care before surgical intervention

Reading (specifically personal development, finance, leadership, and business related books)
Spending time with my wife and 4 children exploring Oregon. We love camping, agate hunting, and hiking the trails of Oregon. We love national parks!
Sports: I love playing pickleball (although I’m not very good) as well as basketball (little better at that -height has its’ privileges). I also enjoy spending time helping coach my son’s sports teams.
Movies (I quote movies so often that on occasion when I say something funny people just ask me, “What movie is that from?” Sad, but understandable.)
Meet the Team
You get the best of both
Innovation
Meets Experience.
Some podiatry practices have been doing things the same way for 30 years. Others chase every new trend without the experience to back it up. We combine our passion for innovative approaches with scientific research.

What makes us different?
When it comes to heel pain, typically the issue is plantar fasciitis but not always and that’s why you come to a specialist. YouTube videos and your friend, neighbor or family member are well meaning but can only help so much. At Grants Pass Podiatry, we recognize people want to get back to their lives whether it be the day to day requirements of work or you’re planning for that hike or marathon and we want to get you back as soon as possible (because really, we all can only binge watch so much Netflix/Amazon Prime/Hulu/AppleTV+/Oh, there’s just too many!)
-
Dr. Sautter is trained in both open and minimally invasive approaches and will discuss with you his recommendations based on your unique situation. While he loves minimally invasive surgery, he recognizes it is not a one-size fits all approach.

What makes us different ?
Swift Microwave Therapy, available in our office as the only clinic between Redding and Bend to offer it.
Approximately 85% effective on warts and 90-93% effective on painful calluses (more specifically IPKs-what you have would be determined by examination)

At Grants Pass Podiatry, the goal has always been simple: get you back to your life as quickly and comfortably as possible — without overdoing it. Dr. Sautter believes in starting conservative, choosing the least invasive path that actually works, and reserving surgery for when it's truly the right call. That means leaning on proven regenerative options like shockwave and MLS laser therapy before reaching for a scalpel, and never padding out your treatment plan just to fill a calendar. You'll leave your first appointment with clarity, a real plan, and ideally, some relief already underway.
Come see our office
We could tell you our office is clean, modern, and welcoming. But honestly, you expect that. What you might not expect: a podiatry office that actually feels memorable. One where the Bigfoot artwork makes you smile. Where the space feels more "elevated and intentional" than "sterile and clinical." Where you walk out thinking, "Huh. That was actually… different."
Take a look around.
